Medicine was never a career path I chose — it was a decision I made before I fully understood its demands. Five years at SVS Medical College & Hospital, Mahabubnagar shaped me across every dimension: the clinical weight of a 700+ bed hospital, the rigour of designing and executing an original research study, and the unexpected precision that teaching forces on you.

During my clinical years and house surgeonship, I worked across ten departments — but three stayed with me: Radiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Ophthalmology. Not because they were easy, but because they demanded a quality of thinking I want to spend a career in. Imaging that turns ambiguity into diagnosis. Gynaecology where the work spans from oncological intervention to the quiet precision of assisted reproduction — two ends of the same discipline, both unforgiving. Ophthalmology where a millimetre of precision changes everything.

My published research — a first-authored paper in the International Journal of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Embase indexed — was not a checkbox. It was a Tranexamic Acid study I initiated in the OB/GYN department in 2022 because I saw a clinical question worth answering. That instinct hasn't changed.

Since graduation, I have stayed engaged with teaching — tutoring 40+ students across NEET UG, MBBS, and 11th & 12th — because explaining medicine well forces you to understand it completely. Every tutorial I build, I build from first principles.

Outside medicine, I work in digital art — not only as a creative outlet but as a source of side income. I find that the same visual discipline that makes a good radiologist also makes a deliberate artist: both are trained acts of seeing.

My postgraduate ambition is non-negotiable. Radiology is my first preference, OBGYN second, Ophthalmology third. I can defend each with clinical experience, published research, and a clear articulation of purpose. I want to practise in India's most demanding postgraduate environments — and contribute, long-term, to ultrasound screening and imaging protocols in resource-limited settings.

INDEXING

Embase · Available on Request

A clinical question observed in the OB/GYN wards became a structured study. Designed, executed, and published independently — the first step toward a research career in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Teaching Forensic Medicine daily to junior batches has produced an unexpected dividend: I have not needed to revise FMT topics separately. Explaining them to students is a more rigorous review than any passive re-read.

Radiodiagnosis: because imaging is where clinical reasoning is tested, and reading it well is a skill already in development.

OB/GYN: a clinical question observed in the wards became a published study — the field chose itself.

Ophthalmology: a millimetre of precision changes everything, and that was always the preference, not the result of narrowing down. Three choices. Each one earned.

Every clinical decision is ultimately validated by imaging. My technical aptitude and structured analytical approach align directly with what the specialty demands. Being detail-obsessive here is not a limitation — it is the prerequisite.

There is no other specialty that holds oncological intervention and assisted reproduction within the same discipline — two extremes, both unforgiving, both demanding the same quality of clinical precision. That range is exactly why I chose it.

A millimetre of precision changes everything. Ophthalmology rewards the kind of meticulous, structured thinking I have spent five years developing — where visual acuity in the surgeon mirrors the visual acuity being restored in the patient.

LEADERSHIP & SERVICE

LEADERSHIP & SERVICE

2025 - PRESENT

Academic Tutor & Faculty Liaison — FMT Dept., SVSMCH MBNR

Serve as primary academic liaison between students and the Forensic Medicine department — managing tutorial schedules, assessment logistics, invigilation, and query resolution. Digitized the department's entire case-based question pool from scratch. Being the person junior students turn to has, unexpectedly, made me a more precise clinician.

2023 - PRESENT

Founder — NEET-PG Peer Study Group, SVSMCH MBNR

Founded a 12-member NEET-PG study group with weekly grand tests, monthly subject reviews, and performance analytics managed through Notion and Google Sheets — built and maintained personally. Group average Marrow score improved 19 percentile points over four consecutive months.

2022 - 2024

Class Representative

Acted as the primary link between students and faculty, representing class concerns and ensuring clear, timely communication. Coordinated academic schedules, facilitated feedback on coursework and assessments, and helped resolve day-to-day academic and administrative issues. Played a key role in organizing internal discussions and maintaining alignment within the batch, fostering a more structured and collaborative learning environment.

ONLINE TUTORING

ONLINE TUTORING

CLASS 11 & 12 · BIOLOGY & CHEMISTRY · NEET UG

Teaching is not a detour from my clinical career — it is continuous with it. I offer one-on-one online sessions for Class 11 and 12 students preparing for NEET UG, bringing the perspective of someone who has lived every step of the journey they are preparing for: the entrance examination, five years of medical college, and the clinical wards.

One-on-one sessions allow me to diagnose exactly where a student is struggling and rebuild from first principles — the same diagnostic reasoning I apply at the bedside. No standardised scripts. Every session is adapted to the individual student's gaps, pace, and examination timeline.

Verified Subject Matter Expert in Biology — Chegg India, Feb 2022 – Aug 2024
